Mary B. Hahn, age 89, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison.
Mary was born July 2, 1926, in Millcreek, IL, the daughter of Iven and Clara (Dillow) Miller. She married Leonard Hahn on June 6, 1946, in Cairo, IL. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2008. She worked at the Sterling Gazette in the Classified Ads Department from 1956 to 1971. Mary enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (William) Blevins of Sterling, IL; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Hahn; three grandchildren, Shayne Blevins of Roscoe, IL, Lathe Blevins of Davis Junction, IL, and Christeen Thayer of Sterling; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Gary and Sharon Handel.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Mickey Joe Hahn; one brother; five sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Reverend Aaron Jackson of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sterling officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established to the Diabetes Foundation.
