Mary Ann Temple, 89, of Windsor Manor Assisted Living Community in Morrison, IL, died Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Windsor Manor.
Mary Ann was born August 8, 1930, in Fulton, IL, to Jacob and Gertrude (Hoogheem) Norman. She attended Fulton schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. Mary Ann married Isaac “Ike” Temple on December 18, 1948, in Detroit, MI. Mary Ann worked at General Electric in Morrison. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton. Mary Ann enjoyed cooking for, and taking care of, her family.
Survivors include her husband, Isaac; daughter, Lora (Steve) Janak of Woodruff, WI; sons, Steve (Lori) Temple of Rock Falls, IL, and Scott (Renee) Temple of Morrison; seven grandchildren, David Janak, Peter (Caroline) Janak, Wayne (Stacy) Temple, Anne (Chris) Mills, Kristin (Jeff) Huisenga, Justin Temple, Adam (Quinn) Temple; 13 great-grandchildren, Jett, Gage, Nicholas, Samuel, Amelia, Jacob, Benjamin, Lucas, Sarah, Owen, Adalinn, Harrison, and Grant; sister, Ardith Zuidema of Fulton; brother, Paul Norman of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lois Bush, LaVonne Dykema, Eunice Leibert, and Leota Norman in infancy; brother, Gerald “Jocko” Norman.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, preceded by visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Ken Renkes will officiate.
Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL.
A memorial has been established by the family.
