Mark A. Anderson, 72, of Morrison, IL, died on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home.
He was born on March 10, 1950, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Kent and Harriet (Hysjulien) Anderson. He married Pamela Stephenson on May 27, 1978, in Washington, D. C. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2019. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church of Morrison. Mark was a Pastor for the deaf for many years. He was proud that he had learned to speak four different languages in his lifetime.
He is survived by his daughters, Mikalah Anderson of Morrison and Lilly Anderson of Morrison; sons, Seth Anderson of Oregon, IL, Michael Anderson of Sterling, IL, Zakary Anderson of Sterling, Isaac Anderson of Sterling, and Joseph Anderson of Sterling; sisters, Karen (Boyd) Collins of Georgia, Greta Mueller of Colorado, and Kristin (Kim) Hansen of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Steve Dingman.
There will be no Services at this time.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
