Marjorie H. Moews, 94, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Resthave Home in Morrison.
Marge was born December 25, 1922, in Geneseo, IL, to William A. and Flora (Kowitz) Young. She was a 1941 graduate of Geneseo Township High School. On April 18, 1946, she married Clyde R. McDougall in Geneseo. He died June 18, 1967. She married Stanley E. Moews on August 1, 1969, in Morrison. He died September 27, 2007. Marge was employed as a telephone operator for the Geneseo Telephone Company and was an Avon Representative for 30 years. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison, where she served with W.E.L.C.A. and as a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of Royal Neighbors of America, Morrison American Legion Auxiliary, Morrison Community Hospital Auxiliary. Marge served as a Pink Lady Volunteer and as a Girl Scout and Brownie leader. Marge enjoyed playing bridge and quilting and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
Survivors include three daughters, Andrea Dalton, Adele (Ron) Nye, and Alicia (Dean) Burkholder, all of Morrison, IL; three step-daughters, Rhonda (Ron) Hulteen of Sterling, IL, Jacquelina (Jay) Johnson of Peoria, IL, and Margot (David) Fairbanks of Gladstone, MI; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Lisa) Dalton, Jennifer (Noah) Chambers, Brad (Starla) Nye, Dara Nye, Jay (Jessica) Nye, Anne Burkholder, Ashley Burkholder; nine step-grandchildren, Travis Fairbanks, Justin Fairbanks, Ryan Fairbanks, Laura Hulteen, Matthew Hulteen, David Davis, Patrick Davis, William Davis, Julia Davis; 13 great-grandchildren, Amanda Dalton, Hillary Dalton, Dalton Gray, Ally Hartman, Leslie Chambers, Shawna Simpson, Bailey Smith, Jonathan Nye, Journey Nye, Tyler Nye, Ezra Nye, Ashlynn Aldridge, Austen Aldridge; one step-great-grandchild, Harlow Fairbanks; three great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Parker Bousman, and Evan Gray.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Clyde McDougall and Stanley Moews; twin sisters, Martha and Georgia Young; three brothers, Billy Young, Robert Young, and James Young; a half-sister, Audrey Howard.
Cremation rites have been accorded.

INTERMENT: Private family graveside services will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo, IL
