Marie Radake, age 85, of Rock Falls, IL, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, IL.
Marie was born August 26, 1930, in Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Iona (Keller) Dublo. She was educated in Tamaroa. Marie married Frank Radake on October 30, 1948, in Benton, IL. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1989. She was employed at GE for 22 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Como Baptist Church.
Survivors include her special friend, Avlon Foster of Rock Falls; two sisters, Frances (Rod) Williamson of Longwood, FL, and Betty McPherson of West Virginia; two brothers, Jim (Lela) Dublo of Mesa, AZ, and Charlie (Phyllis) Dublo of Ocalla, FL; 14 nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Donnie Radake; four brothers, Earl Dublo, Richard Dublo, Claude Dublo, and one in infancy; one sister, Connie Royer; one nephew, Tommy Dublo.
Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established to Como Baptist Church.
