Margaret E. Bradshaw, 89, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Bickford Cottage in Clinton, IA.
Margaret was born February 1, 1927, in Albany, IL, to Walter E. and Lucile (Drury) Lewis. She was educated in the Spring Creek Grade School of rural Whiteside County and was a 1945 graduate of Tampico High School in Tampico, IL. She was a graduate of Colorado State University in Greeley, CO. She married Coates Bradshaw on May 25, 1956, in Greeley. He died in February 1999. Margaret was a teacher in the Albany Grade School, Slocum Street School, and Round Grove School, all of Whiteside County. She later taught school in Huntley, IL, and Lander, WY. Margaret was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church and the Morrison Wa-Tan-Ye Club. She enjoyed assembling puzzles and quilts.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky (Steve) Graham of Independence, MO, and Susan (Jim) McLean of Hudson, WY; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Alice Evans of Morton, IL, and Agnes (Jim) Knowlson of Santa Paula, CA; two brothers, Evan Lewis of Clinton and Albert (Sandy) Lewis of Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coates; one sister, Gracia Burgess.

Thee will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded.
