Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 29, 2019.
Arrests: On April 3, 2019, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of E. High Street and Meadow Lane, Morrison, IL. During the investigation of the traffic stop, Morrison Police identified and arrested a passenger, Tanner H. Rennie age 22 of Morrison, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Rennie with Failure to Appear/Pay. Rennie was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On April 4, 2019, Morrison Police responded to a complaint of suspicious persons in French Creek Park. During the investigation of the complaint, Morrison Police identified and arrested Seth D. Peterson, age 19 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Peterson with Failure to Appear-Aggravated Assault. Christopher L. McDivitt, age 23 of Clinton, IA, was also identified and arrested, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging McDivitt with Failure to Appear/Pay. Both Peterson and McDivitt were transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
