These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
3/23/18 at 11:31 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 and Yorktown Road. The white Lincoln MKZ refused to stop for Deputies and ensued in a pursuit through the City of Rock Falls, IL. The vehicle eventually stopped after hitting stop sticks deployed by Rock Falls Police Department, resulting in the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile from Clinton, IA. The juvenile was arrested for two counts of Aggravated Fleeing to Elude, two counts of Disobeying a Stop Sign, Driving While License Suspended, and Speeding 35 mph over the posted 55 mph limit (111 MPH.) The juvenile was released to a guardian with other charges pending. Passenger, Jason P. Miller, age 27 of Camanche, IA, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Possession of Cannabis Whiteside County Warrant and a Failure to Appear-Obstructing Whiteside County Warrant. Miller was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond.
3-26-18 at 2:47 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Morrison, IL, for traffic violations. Upon further investigation, David E. Stuart, age 60 of Morrison, was arrested for Speeding – 86mph in a 55mph zone, Improper Lane Usage, and DUI-Alcohol. Stuart was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Hunter’s Towing assisted on scene.
