03-21-14 at 12:45 a.m. Deputies responded to investigate a single-vehicle, roll-over crash on IL Route 84 just south of Hazel Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the driver fled the scene. Paul D. Dannels, age 58 of Cordova, IL, was subsequently arrested 03-25-14 for Operating Motor Vehicle with Expired Registration, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash, and Failure to Report Crash to Police Authority. He was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond pending an April 28, 2014 court date. Fulton Police, Rock Island County Sheriff, and Midwest Collision assisted.
03-21-14 at 05:23 a.m. Deputies responded to a single vehicle roll-over crash involving a semi tractor-trailer at the Interstate 88 off-ramp to U. S. Route 30. Anthony J. Harmon, age 49 of Kingsland, GA, entered the curve too fast and lost control of the tractor-trailer, causing it to roll over. He was cited by Deputies for Driving Too Fast for Conditions. Ince’s Towing and Tollway Authorities assisted on scene.
03-24-14 at 08:50 p.m. Kevin M. Ballard, age 21 of Rock FallsIL, was arrested on a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Pay/Appear Criminal Trespass. He was remanded to the jail pending court.
03-24-14 at 10:30 p.m. Jennifer A. White, age 35 of Albany, IL, was arrested on a Carroll County Warrant for Failure to Appear-Insufficient Funds Check. She was turned over to Carroll County Sheriff’s Office without incident. Fulton Police assisted on scene.
03-25-14 at 9:07 p.m. Silverio A. Contreras, age 52 of Morrison,IL, was arrested on U. S. Route 30 at Matznick Road for No Valid Driver’s License. He was processed at the jail and released on a Notice to Appear. Assistance was provided on scene by Williams’ Towing.
