Join us for a special musical benefit, on Saturday, March 23, 2019, during Spring Valley Talent Night, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Spring Valley Reformed Church, 10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL, will host a fundraiser for Brayden Houzenga, featuring Trinity Men’s Quartet.
Brayden is the 13-year-old son of Roger and Melissa Houzenga from Morrison, IL. He was born without a parathyroid gland. His body does not retain the natural calcium that is needed to stay alive. A year ago, Brayden was diagnosed with nephrocalcinosis (calcium deposits in the kidneys) and Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Failure. Just recently he was diagnosed with hydronephrosis (swelling of the kidneys.)
As Brayden’s medical costs have increased, the insurance company decreased their amount of coverage this past summer. This leaves Roger and Melissa with the reality of unmanageable debt. Help us to offset those costs.
Live and Silent Auctions will be held for several gift baskets and other items.
There will be a Bake Sale, and after the concert we will be serving desserts.
Come on out and enjoy good music and delicious desserts. Help us raise funds for Brayden’s care, which often includes lodging and other expenses, incurred while out-of-town to Madison, WI.
Contact Spring Valley Reformed Church at 815-772-3554.
The Houzenga family is shown protected by Storm Troopers, during an earlier visit to Walt Disney World. Brayden is wearing his blue, Make a Wish Foundation shirt.
