Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 21, 2014.
Arrests:
On Saturday, March 22, 2014, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 520 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, regarding a Domestic Dispute. On Wednesday, March 26, after an ongoing investigation into this dispute, Morrison Police arrested Betty Spangler, charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Spangler was issued a Notice to Appear for April 28, 2014, and was released.
On Friday, March 28, 2014, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Billy E. Stage, age 31 of Clinton, IA, on E. Lincolnway at Bishop Road for a moving violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Stage was arrested for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Stage was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
