Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 20, 2015.
Arrests: On Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Morrison Police responded to the Odell Public Library at 307 S. Madison Street, regarding suspicious activity. As a result of the investigation, a male juvenile, age 16 of Morrison, IL, was taken into custody by Morrison Police and charged with Possession of Cannabis (Less Than 2.5 Grams), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting a Peace Officer. During the incident, the male juvenile received minor injuries that were treated at Morrison Community Hospital. The male juvenile was then released to the custody of his mother.
