The Morrison Unit School District #6 Board convened on Monday, March 17, 2025, without members Dustin Damhoff and Jim Prombo in attendance.
Following the “Good News From Around the District,” offered by the respective school Principals and the Superintendent, the following Actions were offered and accepted by unanimous votes of approval.
- Boss Carpet was approved to replace the gym floor at Northside School for a bid of $63,730.
- Consolidated District Plan.
- Hiring of Dusti Markham as the High School Principal for three years, on a performance-based program.
- Hiring of Jennie Gowan as the Southside Elementary PE Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Approved Hanna Brown as the Junior High Counselor for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Approved Bronson Minton as the High School PE Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year (pending certification.)
- Changing of the meeting date for the April School Board to Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Due to the use of the gymnasium for Baseball practice prior to spring, discussion of the protective netting for the high school gymnasium scoreboard included several options. The Board gave permission to pursue further options for consideration.
