Charges listed below are accusations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On 3/16/18 at about 6:19 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies were dispatched to U. S. Route 30 and Yager Roads, rural Morrison, IL, on the report of a vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a 1992 Ford 250 driven by Leland H. Bragg, Jr., 38, of Fulton, IL, was traveling eastbound on Route 30, slowing to turn left into a private drive. He was struck from behind by an eastbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruz driven by Jeramie D. Reatherford, 39, of Morrison.
Jeramie was issued citations for False Reporting a Vehicle Crash, Driving While License Revoked, and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash.
Katie J. Reatherford, 35, of Morrison, was issued a citation for False Reporting a Vehicle Crash. Both were released with a Promise to Comply.
Leland took himself to Morrison Community Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Morrison Police assisted Deputies on scene.
