The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Monday, March 1, 2021.
Arrests: On Monday, March 1, 2021, at approximately 11:41 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Damian A. Rieck, age 28 of Morrison, IL, at N. Jackson Street and E. Lincolnway, for an equipment violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested and charged Rieck with Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Driving While License Revoked, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (30-100g – Class A Misdemeanor.) Rieck was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear. Rieck was also issued a Warning Citation for No Rear Registration Plate Lamp.
On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at 402 W. Main Street. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Hannah E. Long, age 20 of Morrison, IL, with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor, and Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol.) Long was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear.
