Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 1, 2019.
Arrests: On Monday, March 4, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Matthew R. Gorzney, age 23 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant, issued by Carroll County, charging Gorzney with Contempt of Court (original charge Residential Burglary.) Gorzney was held with no bond and was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Sunday, March 10, 2019, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Morrison Police responded to a domestic dispute in Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged a male, age 19 of Morrison, with Domestic Battery. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted Morrison Police with this incident.
