Under Music Director and Conductor Silas Huff, Clinton Symphony Orchestra’s annual Family Concert will be performed at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2026, at the Camanche High School Theater.  The location is 937 9th Avenue, Camanche, IA.  Adult tickets are $20 available at the door.  Students are admitted free of charge, and an adult companion is admitted for half-price.

Enjoy great music for all ages; musical characters; a big surprise; dances; cats and dogs; our special guest artist.  Full information is online at www.clintonsymphony.org.

The concert features the winning CSO 2026 Young Artist, violinist Brianna Rose Baluyut of Clinton, IA, who will perform Mozart’s Third Violin Concerto, accompanied by the orchestra.  She introduced herself:  “My name is Brianna Rose Baluyut.  I am a Senior in homeschool, and live with my family of nine (seven kids–I am the second-oldest) in Clinton, IA.   I have been playing the violin since I was 12 (almost six years now), and began taking lessons here with Miss Amanda Carlson.

The following year, I became part of the Quad City Youth Symphony Ensembles.  Since then, I’ve auditioned up from the bottom ensemble to the top one (Youth Symphony Orchestra!)  This summer, I will be touring Spain and Portugal with them.  I currently take lessons under Miss Sabrina Tabby (via Zoom.)

Other than playing my violin, I also love playing the piano, singing with my siblings, drawing, writing stories, reading, baking, and doing practically anything artsy or that involves my imagination.  I plan to attending Emmaus University this fall to study Digital Arts and minor in music.  Afterwards I plan to fulfill my longtime aspirations by playing within a professional orchestra.  I especially dream of playing within a film orchestra.  I want to use my talents to bless others and to glorify God.

I am honored to play alongside the Clinton Symphony Orchestra, and I am so thankful to have been given this incredible opportunity.  Thank you, again, for inviting me to play alongside you all.  I’m really looking forward to it!
