On Sunday, January, 16, 2022, 80-year-old Sondra Horn made her annual snow angel. This spirited, fun-loving, spry, and agile woman resides at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, in the Assisted Living wing. She is pictured making her second snow angel of the year.
Sondra has made a snow angel every year for as long as she can remember. Resthave staff love this annual tradition and will often make one with her. She gives great instructions to them, to make sure their snow angels come out looking good.
Before Sondra makes her snow art, she usually tells her friends at Resthave she is going out to do so Many of them watch from their windows. They are always impressed by Sondra’s ability to get up and down so easily, but they rarely will brave the cold to try and join her.
Pictured with Horn is Resthave Dietary Aide Jered Cross, who made a snow angel her. Cross had a blast making his super-sized snow angel!
