The City of Morrison, IL, announces that Main Street line painting of parking spaces will begin Monday, November 1, 2021. By 7:00 a.m. that day, all vehicles must be removed from Main Street, so contractors can paint the parking lines.
On Friday, October 29, City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen, ICMA-CM, added, “This is a very weather-dependent process, and the Project Area will be closed as necessary to accommodate the painting. There will be zero access to the Project Area until the paint dries. However, once the lines are painted, the drying cycle is relatively short. Access will be opened up as soon as possible.”
