The Morrison Historical Society Board purchased General Admission tickets to share with others, in order to celebrate “Morrison/Fulton Day,” “Scout Day,” and “Sugar Cookie Day,” at Clinton LumberKings Park, on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The address is 537 Ballpark Drive, Clinton, IA 52732.
At 2:00 p.m., home team Clinton Elotes (“Corncobs”) face the Illinois Valley Pistol (“Snapping”) Shrimp. It could be amusing to create a cheer with those inoffensive mascot names.
Look for the MHS Board members’ table, with a new line of t-shirts available for purchase. Sizes are Small-through-3X in five, muted tones: purple, navy, gray, brown, and brick. The price for most is $25; sizes 2X and 3X are $25.
