Brad Noble of Morrison IL, won the Queen of Hearts Jackpot on Thursday, December 1, 2022, and he was present for the drawing at Brick Block Pub (BBP), 105 W. Main Street, Morrison. He won 50% of the just-short-of-$20,000 jackpot. Congratulations Brad!
The other 50% of the Jackpot was split between Friends of the Parks (FOTP) and On the Move with Parks and Rec (OTM), Morrison. These groups work on improvements to Morrison, and that is where proceeds go from the Queen of Hearts Raffle.
FOTP continues with the upkeep of the bike path and is currently helping with Morrison Winter Park. OTM has been working on the Bark Park, which opened this fall, and has also been helping with Morrison Winter Park.
OTM is currently fundraising for a new project: children’s playground equipment for the local parks.
