Lola Alice Lange, 98, of Resthave Home, Morrison, IL, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Home.
Lola was born August 22, 1915, in Camanche, IA, to Robert and Emily (Johnson)(Engelking) Harman. She was educated in the rural Clinton County grade schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1934. Lola married Loren William Lange on May 25, 1935, in Clinton. He died December 8, 1996. She was employed by the Clinton Garment Co. and then Champion Package Co. She later worked in the Garden Plain School kitchen. Lola was a member of the Garden Plain Presbyterian Church where she was active in the women’s circle. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose-Clinton Chapter #474. Lola enjoyed flowers and gardening, baking, quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Wagner of Marshfield, WI, and Kay (John) Rhame of Portage, IN; one son, Leon (Diane) Lange of Thomson, IL; seven grandchildren, Douglas (Ann) Wagner, Denae Wagner, Darcy (Al) Koeckeritz, John (Meredith) Rhame IV, Aaron (Aimee) Rhame, Curt Lange, Kendra (Tobin) Kirk; 12 great-grandchildren, Steven, Paul, and Adam Wagner; Hattie and Emma Koeckeritz, Charlotte and Zoey Rhame, Mia and Beckham Rhame, Tyler and Jacob Lange, and William Wyatt Kirk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Jesse Kirk; one brother, Harold Harman.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
