Lois L. Vos, 87, of Sterling, IL, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, IL.
Born September 4, 1928, in Albany, IL, she was a daughter of Harper William and Josephine (Drury) Harvey. She was united in marriage to Charles Vos on March 28, 1952, in Albany.
Lois was a member of Albany United Methodist Church and the Friendly Circle. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed sewing, crafting, canning, freezing, and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Charles, of Sterling; daughters, Karen (Francis) Frederick of Rock Falls, IL, Marilyn (Gary) White of Bettendorf, IA, LuAnn Vos of Morrison, and Nancy (Tom) Hook of Morrison; sons, Raymond (Lisa) Vos of Chadwick, IL, and Randall (Deb) Vos of Sterling; a brother, Harper Harvey of Peoria, AZ.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judith Vos; three sisters, Beverly Spets, Helen Hanson, and Geneveive Walker.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, IL.
The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Lusk Cemetery in Albany, IL.
A memorial has been established to Albany Ambulance, Albany Lions Club, or Gaffey Hospice in her memory.
