Local State Scholars Recognized

ISScholarsLogoOn Tuesday, November  27, 2018, local students were recognized by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, as 2019-2020 State Scholars.  These students rank in the top ten percent of high school Seniors from across the State, based on a combination of their ACT or SAT test scores and their class rank in the sixth semester.  More than 21,000 students enrolled in 757 schools achieved this reognition.

Whiteside County Illinois State Scholars include

  • Erie High School:  Travis Coleman, Abigail Eads, Gabriel Friedrichsen, Melanie Gustaf, Joshua Hammer, Jeremy Huizenga, and Calvin Naftzger
  • Fulton High School:  Jenna Alstead, Mandy Alstead, Lauren Frick, Mckenzie Kettler, and Zoey Klavenga
  • Morrison High School:  Steven Kramoski, Cassandra Osborn, Mackenzie Ryder, Sarah Screnock, and Meghan Sterenberg.
