On Saturday, May 7, 2016, Conant High School (Hoffman Estates, IL,) used the home run to score four of their five runs.  But the Morrison Fillies pounded out 13 hits and 11 runs to cage the Cougars, 11-4, in their third game of the day in the Marengo Tournament.

Moline Tops Fillies

The Morrison, IL, Fillies traveled to the Quad Cites to take on the Moline, IL, Maroons from the Big 6 Conference, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.  The local girls suffered a loss after giving up a three-run homer in the first inning.

Fillies’ Bats Stay Alive

The Morrison Fillies started the month of May with a defeat of the Riverdale Lady Rams, behind the 5-hit pitching of Lauren Pannier.  Final score was Morrison 12, Riverdale 1.

Fillies Erupt at Kewanee

The Morrison Fillies traveled to Kewanee, IL, on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2016, and made quick work of the Lady Boilermakers in a 15-0 rout.

E-P Edges Fillies

To say that the recent years of competition between the Morrison Fillies and the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers has been intense is almost an understatement.  The Panthers visited the Morrison Sports Complex, which is the site of the often-rememberd and highly-contested game of two years ago, on Monday afternnoon, April 25, 2016. 

Fillies Edge Newman

The Morrison Fillies put four runs on the scoreboard in the first inning and held on.  The young women defeated the Newman Lady Comets Friday, April 22, 2016, at the Morrison Sports Complex by the score of 5-3.

Fillies Shut Out Steamers Again

Fillies No-Hit Durand Bulldogs

Brooke Stralow shut out the Lady Bulldogs from Durand High School in the Fulton Tourney on Saturday, April, 16, 2016, by not allowing a hit for five innings.  The Morrison High School Fillies plated ten runs for the 10-0 win. Durand’s first base runner didn’t reach until the fifth inning,

Fillies Embarrass Fulton Steamers

The Morrison, IL, Fillies scored 16 runs in the first three innings at the Fulton, IL, Tourney on Saturday, April 16, 2016.  They eliminated the Fulton Steamers via the 15-run rule.  Final score was Morrison 16, Fulton 0.

Fillies Deny Dixon

The Dixon, IL, Duchesses were their own worst enemy as they supplied the Morrison Fillies six walks and commited five errors.  The Morrison High School Fillies took advantage and recorded a 11-0 win.  

Two Hits Earn Win for Fillies

The Morrison Fillies hosted the Sherrard, IL, Lady Tigers on Thursday, April 14, 2016, and earned a win.  They only gathered two hits, but the MHS team showed clean fielding and a good pitching outing from Lauren Pannier. Final score was Morrison 2, Sherrard 1.
