2013 Regional Baseball Schedule

The Morrison Sports Complex will again be the home of the IHSA Regional baseball action including Fulton, Erie-Prophetstown, Morrison and the winner of Riverdale and West Carroll game.

Gruel Sinks Clippers

Bill Lee Greul  shut the door on the Amboy Clippers by allowing four singles in four different innings and striking out nine to seal the conference win for the Mustangs.  8-0

Win #15 for Fillies

Teh Morrison Fillie offense combined with the one-hit pitching of Lauren Pannier was too much for the visiting Amboy Lady Clippers as they fell by a score of 13-1.

Mustangs Over Comets in Five

Alex Volckmann lead the Morrison Mustangs by  hitting 2 doubles, collecting 6 RBIs and stealing two bases to a 16-4 thumping of the Newman Comets on Tuesday , April 30, 2013.

Pannier No-Hits Comets

Freshman Lauren Pannier completed a seven inning no-hitter with thirteen strikeouts against the Lady Comets from Newman on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

Game 2 to Fillies

The Morrison Fillies punded out ten hits while Allie Wiersema was holding Fulton to five to earn the win over the Fulton Steamers 8-0.

Fillies Sink Steamers

The Morrison Fillies expanded their conference mark to 8-1 in game one of a  Monday night doubleheader  over the Fulton Steamers by a score of 11-1.

Sloppy Win

A Thursday afternoon game between the Kewanee Boilermakers and the Morrison Mustangs was labeled “Sloppy” by Kewanee loyal spectators. They saw 29 runs, 24 hits, and 13 errors and maybe they had a right to be critical in the 18-11 Morrison win.

Greul One-HIts Kewanee

Bill Lee Greul took the mound for the second game of the day for the Mustangs and allowed only one hit on the chilly night as Morrison topped the Kewanee Boilermakers by a 5-2 score.

Storm Surprise Fillies

Teh Bureau Valley Storm surprised the Morrison Fillies when they hosted them  on Thursday, April 25, 2013 and sent the Fillies home with their first conference loss and only the third loss for the season.

Early Runs Down Rams

The Morrison Mustangs scored in every inning but the sixth to top the Riverdale Rams by a score of 12-3 on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

The second game of a doubleheater at Kewanee ended liike the first, with the Morrison Fillies leading by over ten runs after five innings to end the game on the mercy rule.
