Jacob Allison Wins High Point Trophy

Tracy Henson submitted this report. The Rock Island ORCA Swim Team held their 4th Annual Spook & Splash Swim Meet on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October. 25, 2015.  Nine Seahorses competed in the meet and came home with 31 Top-Six finishes.  The swimmers also had 23 Lifetime best swims.

Six Seahorses made the trip to the Duis Center in Sterling, IL, to compete in their first swim meet of the Fall 2015 season.  The Sterling Stingray Swim Club held their Fall Fantastic Meet on Sunday, October 18.  The Seahorses had 21 Top-Six finishes.  Congratulations

Fillies Hold On for Win

Filles Add a Win at Milledgeville

The Morrison Fillies earned win number three on the young season, by topping the Lady Missiles of Milledgeville, IL, 39-35. Struggling at the free throw line (36%) put extra pressure on the Fillies, but balanced scoring from six players made the difference.

Girls Tourney Shortened by Weather

Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL, hosted a Girls Basketball tourney featuring Varsity and Fresh-Soph competition.  But the early winter snow storm shortened the games as two Friday, November 20, 2015, and all Saturday, November 21, games were canceled.

Tournament Times Changed for November 21

Regarding the Morrison High School Girls Basketball tournament set for Saturday, November 21, 2015, Morrison Athletic Director Gregg Dolan submitted this change in “plan for tomorrow.  We will cancel the trophy round of the Fresh/Soph side of the tournament and move the pool play games to noon and 1:30 p.m.
