In a season when nothing has been easy for the Morrison Mustangs, Homecoming against the 1-3 Riverdale Rams was no exception. On Friday, September 23, 2016, they fell behind early, regained and mounted a comfortable lead, and then had to hold on, to earn a well-deserved Homecoming win of 47-35.
The Friday night, September 16, 2016, Fresh-Soph game between Rockridge and Morrison started out like a shootout. It settled quickly as the Ponies’ defense put the clamps on the visitors and galloped away with a 27-14 win.
The visiting Rockridge Rockets gained more yardage on the ground within the first ten minutes of the football game, than the Morrison Mustangs collected all night in a once-sided contest on Friday, September 16, 2016.
