Following a hitless win on Friday night, the Mustangs came out Saturday and knocked out eighteen hits to top the West Carroll Thunder 19-9.
To quote Coach Sondgeroth..”It was a crazy game!” The Morrison Mustangs traveled to Fulton and came home with a nine inning victory and never collected a single hit.
For the second time in two games of the early season, the Morrison Mustangs earned a 10-rule mercy win. This time over the conference foe Bureau Valley Storm by a score of 17-3.
Mr. Weather kept the Morrison Mustangs indoors for an extra two weeks, but when they finally took the diamond, the offense eliminated the Oregon Hawks in a five inning game on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
