Dr. David Yeager, Podiatric Surgeon at Morrison Community Hospital, was invited to educate Head Start children in Sterling, IL, about the importance of taking care of their feet. A total of 90 kids from eight classrooms were entertained by his character, “Little Foot.” A good time was had by all, on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
Children were able to count the number of toes on “Little Foot.”
They offered unique ways they take care of their feet.
Each child took home a squishy foot to remind them of the visit from “Little Foot” and the importance of cleaning their feet.
