Dominion Christian Fellowship Center, 104 4th Street, Lyndon, IL, will host a two-day Women’s Conference on Friday, September 11, and Sunday, September 12, 2020.
Led by Dominion Church’s Virtuous Women, “Life’s a Journey” is designed to build confidence; find purpose in our day-to-day lives; equip women for their journey.”
Presenters include Kimberly Cook, Cindy Hartzell, Sunny McMinn, and Natalie Momolu. See descriptions for each woman below.
Friday, September 11, starts at 6:00 p.m., with praise and worship, followed by an inspirational message from Natalie Momolu. The session concludes at 10:00.
Saturday, September 12, doors open at 8:30 a.m.
- The conference begins at 9:00. Cook, Hartzell, and McMinn will lead the first sessions. A free lunch is provided.
- The second session includes workshops: Building Confidence and Finding Purpose; Becoming a Disciple; Working Out Forgiveness and Offense.
Kim Cook has been a wife to Tim for 20 years and mother to Annelise, Jesse, and Elliot. She is a music teacher by trade but is currently teaching preschool math at The Children’s House in Hebron, KY, where she lives. She has been following the Lord since she was young and has been on this journey of life, seeking His heart and direction. Kim loves to sing and play the piano, being with her family, and seeing God’s creativity and splendor in nature. May God be glorified in all she does, as we share a small part of our journey together.
Cindy Hartzell is daughter of the most high King, wife, mother, and grandmother of five. She is passionate for our Lord and always learning about what the Good Book says.
Sunny McMinn is the proud mother of four grown children, and grandmother to ten beautiful grandchildren. Sunny is the Founder and Executive Director of Agape House, a life recovery program for men and women seeking restoration and freedom from addiction. God delivered Sunny from a life of addiction over 20 years ago. Since that time, God has used her to minister hope and life,+ to men and women of all ages. Sunny uses her own life experiences, infused with humor and total transparency, to expose the lies behind addiction. She helps lead people to freedom through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Sunny resides in Paragould, AR, and is happily married to her husband of ten months, Keith McMinn.
Natalie Momolu is the wife of Rev. Barbi Momolu, Sr., an amazing man of God and Senior Pastor of the Dominion Christian Fellowship Center church in Lyndon, IL. She serves as his helpmate in life and ministry and as mother to their three children. Her passion is to see people saved, healed, and delivered and teaching women the truth of the Word of God and how to apply it to our lives. She also enjoys bringing joy to others and beauty to her surroundings, through sewing, baking, gardening, and painting. Natalie was raised by Christian parents on a farm in rural Illinois. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. She has used her training while working at the Chicago Botanic Garden, teaching in Liberia, West Africa, and working administratively for the Dominion Church. As she fulfills her God-given responsibilities, she strives to be a woman of excellence, to practically live by the Word of God.
