Experienced Odell Public Library Book and Bake Sale shoppers come to the annual event with cardboard boxes. This creates ease of transport of bargain-priced reading material and homemade bakery items. All ages and people of varied interests enjoy the hunt.
If you missed the sale on Saturday, November 8, 2014, there still are books available, near the checkout desk in the library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL. They will be available through November. Bring a box!
Two-year-old Isaac was handed a Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! book. Pink Widget and yellow Wubbzy kept him happily engaged while his family searched for other books. Later, he enjoyed the accompanying DVD. That was a lot of entertainment for a quarter.
A wide assortment of baked items were also purchased, in support of the library.
