Dear Editor:
We would like to thank the entire community for helping with “Let’s Feed Our Children” this summer. By donating peanut butter and jelly, by donating baggies, by making sandwiches, by passing out lunches, by visiting with the children, you made it possible to provide 1589 lunches this year.
We want to thank all of the churches that donated peanut butter and jelly. Also, a big thank you goes out to the people of Morrison Community Hospital, Resthave Home, Morrison Rotary, [Morrison] United Methodist Church, and Crossroads Community Church for making and distributing the lunches.
After seven years of Let’s Feed Our Children [in Morrison, IL,] we have 11,562 lunches given to the children of Morrison.
