I am pleased to endorse Kris Schmidt for Whiteside County Sheriff.
Kris is a seasoned veteran of Law Enforcement and a veteran of the Unites States Air Force and understands the meaning of service.
Having six children of his own and living on a small farm, he understands family and community.
Kris is fair, honest, and committed to serving all citizens and not special interests.
Having served over three decades in Law Enforcement myself, with 20 of those as Lee County Sheriff, I know how important commitment and character are.
