Our Child Advocacy Center, April House, is facing drastic financial issues. The grant funding that April House has been receiving has been cut. We are searching for ways to replace these funds through local means.
We are having a Golf Outing for April House on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, in Morrison. It will be a four-person, best-ball scramble. The cost is $60 per individual and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart and lunch. We are limited to 22 teams, so get your team together as soon as you can.
I am in charge of recruiting hole and tee sponsors. The cost to sponsor one of the holes is $100. One of the tees is $50. There will be a sign at each location showing your tax-deductible support. We will be raffling off 500 ducks at $5 each.
There will be three prizes awarded as follows:
- 1st place $200
- 2nd place $100
- 3rd place $50.
