Letter to the Editor:
On Wednesday, April 30, [2018,] ERA finally passed both Houses in Illinois, 45 years after Congressional approval at the Federal level. It did so without the help of Senator Neil Anderson or Representative Tony McCombie.
How can they oppose women’s rights to equal protection? How can they say that legally women are inferior to men?
Much gratitude to those who voted “yes” and extreme disappointment in those who voted “no.”
Seriously consider voting for Joan Padilla for 71st District State Representative and Gregg Johnson for Senator of the 36th.
