Hello Friends,
Due to the frigid wind chills expected for Tuesday night[, January 29, 2019,] through Wednesday night[, January 30,] Moring Disposal will not run any routes on Wednesday. Offices will be closed so that our employees do not have to travel outside and put themselves at risk.
We hope to be able to resume routes Thursday morning[, January 31,] by sun-up, if the wind chill numbers have subsided sufficiently.
We will give notice at our earliest convenience of our operational plans moving forward, for the remainder of the week. Our first priority will always be the safety of our employees when conditions get this bad. If we are unable to run on Thursday, it will be the first time in 41 years that we have had to call off two days in one week.
If we are forced not to run on Thursday, we will not to be able to get through all rural routes for the week. Rural customers that we are unable to get to this week will be caught up next week and any extra [garbage/recyclables from this week] will surely be taken.
Thank you to all of our valued customers for your understanding and support, in this very challenging time.
Dennis Pate, General Manager, Moriing Disposal, Inc.
