Dear Citizens of Whiteside County:
I have known Kris Schmidt, candidate for Sheriff, for over 20 years. He is a Military Veteran, [and a] highly-educated, trained, and devoted Law Enforcement Officer. He has served this County for many years and is a man of integrity and honesty. He works hard as a Patrol Sergeant to protect the citizens of this County and a person who thoroughly completes each task assigned.
Kris has grown in the Law Enforcement profession and is the most qualified to be the next Whiteside County Sheriff.
Kris is a Law Enforcement Officer that every other Police Officer can count on, and the citizens can do the same.
He is a leader and innovator. Kris will meet the new challenges of Law Enforcement, as there are plenty.
He is compassionate [and] trustworthy and will be a Sheriff that will move the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office forward. He will ensure his Deputies and other employees will be highly trained to meet the problems faced in the future.
