Local LEGO enthusiasts are invited to join Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, for a LEGO Club Open House. It is Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Guests will enjoy snacks, crafts, and, of course, the opportunity to create with LEGOs!
This is a great way to see if Odell’s new LEGO Club might be a good fit for someone in your family. All ages of builders are welcome to attend!
The Odell LEGO Club will officially begin meeting the first Saturday of each month–beginning February 6,–from 10:30 a.m. to noon. LEGOS, Duplos, and Megabloks will be available for builders of all ages. Feel free to bring the whole family.
The club will have a different building theme each month, or participants can simply choose to free-build. LEGO creations will be on display at Odell until the following LEGO Club meeting. Building blocks will be provided by the library, so there is no need to bring your own.
Odell Public Library is currently accepting donations of new or used LEGOS or Duplos. More bricks mean more fun for our community of builders! Odell would like to thank those individuals who have already donated LEGOS to our collection.
We extend a special thanks to Thrivent Financial for supporting this new and exciting community program.
We know the LEGOS will be enjoyed by many and can’t wait to see what our builders will create! Donations may be dropped off at the library during regular business hours.
