American Legion Post 328 encourages community members to deposit donated items for military troops, into the Retired Flags Drop Box outside the Legion Hall. The address is 306 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. The “We Care Package Drive” runs through Friday, December 6, 2019.
The organization “sends USPS priority mail boxes full of goodies for troops serving overseas and Stateside, but most importantly, away from home at Christmas. It’s a chance for us to show our appreciation in a way that also brightens their day.”
All monetary donations go to purchase items and shipping costs for the troops. Whether it’s one dollar or a hundred, we appreciate your help in this effort.
