Fulton City Lodge No. 189 will hold its biannual soup-and-sandwich supper from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Masonic Lodge Building, 1014 4th Street, Fulton, IL. The menu includes vegetable beef soup and oyster stew; chicken salad and ham salad sandwiches; crackers; cookies, cake, and dessert bars; vanilla ice cream; beverages.
Carry-outs will be available.
The per-person cost for this all-you-can-eat supper is a $7 donation for vegetable beef soup and $8 for oyster stew. Tickets must be secured in advance of the supper; no tickets will be available at the door.
Tickets are available from Lodge members, including Lynn Stoecker, Tom Warner, Dale Thayer, Curt Smith, Wayne Anglese, Kenny Matthew, Ron Koehn, and Thomas Warner, Jr.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will help underwrite maintenance of the Lodge building and charitable donations in the Fulton-Albany, IL, community.
Earlier in the month, the Masons donated funds to the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities for Whiteside County and to the Neighborhood Community Park, Fulton’s newest park located at 2120 6th Street.
In conjunction with the Order of the Eastern Star, Merton Chapter #356, of Fulton, the Lodge donated school supplies for needy children at the Fulton Elementary School and non-perishable food items to the Albany and Fulton Food Pantries.
