Lawrence W. Peters, age 79, died at his home in Fulton, IL, on Monday, July 17, 2023.
Larry was born on May 9, 1944, in Williamsburg, OH, the son of Conley and Vesta (Fields) Peters. He married Janelle Christine Mulroyan on July 18, 198,7 in Fulton. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2022. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to Oldies, and playing Scrabble.
Survivors include his daughters, Petra “Tina” Mansfield of Morrison, IL, and Susan Herrell of Northlake, TX; sons, Jamie (Charity) Moog of Fulton, Steven Peters of Halton, TX, and Daniel Peters of Danville, KY; sister, Mae Armstrong of Venice FL; brothers, Jess Peters of Delray, FL, Charles Peters of Mt. Orab, OH, and Conley Peters, Jr. of Lancaster, KY; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Peters; brother, James Peters.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
