Laura L. Everson, age 84, formerly of Sterling, IL, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Allure of Mt. Carroll, IL.
Laura was born April 4, 1937, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Hageland) Olsen. She married Carl Everson on May 29, 1982, in Galena, IL. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2014. Laura was employed at Western Electric for 14 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sterling.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Sean (Jessica) Appleton of Morrison, IL, Kari Everson of Seattle, WA, Jamie Everson of Seattle, and Joy Lynn Everson of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Scott Appleton.
Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church in Sterling, IL, with Reverend Bruce Ludeke officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Sacred Heart Church in Sterling, IL.
