On Saturday, January 21, 2017, the Knights of Columbus will hold the Annual Free Throw Championship. The competition is open to all boys and girls 9-14 years of age. Eligibility is determined by the child’s age on Sunday, January 1. Participants are divided for competition by age and gender. There is no charge.
Registration and warm-ups start at 11:30 a.m. at the Morrison Junior High School gym, 300 Academic Drive, Morrison, IL. The competition begins at noon and should conclude by approximately 1:00 or 1:30 p.m.
The first place boy and girl in each age group receive a medallion. In addition, several basketballs will be given away in a random drawing.
