During the 6:30 p.m. Club meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Morrison, IL, Kiwanis President Steve Davis made a check presentation to Morrison Boy Scout Troop 96 Troop. The club met in the Program Room of Odell Public Library, 307 S. Street. Senior Patrol Leader Noah Icenogle received the $200 check, on behalf of the troop.
Deb Stiefel stated, “Noah updated us on what the group has been doing. He gave us a wonderful presentation. We are so glad our organization is able to support them.”
Icenogle mentioned they are preparing for 2024 Summer Camp in South Dakota. He is photographed in the back row at right.
Troop Leader Augie Ufkin attended. He stated the money would be used for continuing Scouting in Morrison. Boy Scouts has been a Morrison presence since 1955. Five Boy Scout members range from ages 11-to-15.
