Morrison Community Hospital Foundation’s Big Squeeze Committee presents “Run for the Roses,” a Kentucky Derby themed fundraising event. Tickets are $45 each or $320 for a table of eight. They will be available until Friday, September 27, 2013, at Fitzgerald Drug Store, Morrison Community Hospital, or from Mick at 815-772-5510 or Jennifer at 815-772-5562.
The Whiteside County Fairgrounds is the venue for this event on Saturday, October 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
K.J.’s Bar & Grill will provide bar service, and Rastrelli’s will delight again with a delicious menu. Enjoy heavy hors d’ oeuvres, lively libations, fancy hats, horse races, and more derby-related fun!
Bid on one-of-a-kind headwear, like the black “fascinator” style below, presented in a captivating style show/auction.
Prizes will be awarded for the most awesome derby-related attire and accessories.
Proceeds will directly benefit MCH, by contributing toward the purchase of an analog mammography unit, as well as other health care enhancing equipment.
