Kathy L. Kramer, 72 died unexpectedly Thursday, November 25, 2021, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
She was born on August 25, 1949, in Sterling, the daughter of George and Margurete L. (Taylor) Musser. She married Luther Kramer on October 6, 1979, at Rock River Christian Center in Rock Falls, IL. Kathy was a First Grade Teacher for Erie School District in Fenton, IL, for 25 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Kathy loved studying the word of God and teaching adult Sunday School. She was an excellent cook and loved to decorate for the seasons. She loved to travel to the East Coast to visit her daughter; enjoyed being around lakes, streams, and oceans; loved to play cards with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Luther; daughter, Hayley Elyse Smith of Sellersville, PA; son, Hayden Anthony Kramer of Sterling; brother Warren (Joanne) Musser of Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Edward Musser; sisters, Nancy Lee Newburgh and Mary Lou Goss.
Visitation will be held on Wednesda,y December 1, 2021, from 1000 to 11:00 a.m., at the First Church of the Nazarene, in Sterling, IL.
The Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m., with the Reverend Dennis Owens officiating.
Burial will conclude at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Gideon Society.
