Five Morrison Seahorses Swim Club members qualified and made the trip to Pleasant Prairie, WI, to compete in the Illinois Swimming Short Course Age Group State Meet on Friday, March 13, through Sunday, March 15, 2015. The Seahorses had a fantastic meet, as they swam 11-out-of-14 Lifetime Best times.
Skylar Drolema also bettered his own 100 Butterfly MSSC record by 2.31 seconds, by swimming a 1:14.01. The 200 Medley Relay team of BayLeigh Brewer, Kate Henson, Landri Harmon, and Schyon Drolema cut 2.06 seconds off of their team record by swimming a 2:20.60. The same girls swam a 2:05.03 in the 200 Free Relay, which bettered their record by 1.14 seconds. Kate Henson, left, brought home two State medals by placing 5th in the 100 Breaststroke and 7th in the 50 Breaststroke.
