Karen Jean Brall, 57, of Milledgeville, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL, after battling cancer.
Karen was born on February 6, 1966, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of Jerry and Pil (Engelkens) Scott. She married the love of her life, Jerry Brall on August 25, 1984, in Morrison. Karen worked as a daycare provider for many years. She could often be found enjoying her coffee. Karen was loved by many and proudly fulfilled the role of everyone’s mother and grandmother. Most of all, Karen loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Brall; her daughters, Samantha Arnold, Sabrina Helfrich, of Milledgeville, and Holly (Seth) Wiersema, of Morrison; sons, Adam Brall and Alex Brall (Jaime Gennaro) all of Milledgeville; parents, Jerry and Pil Scott, of Morrison; sister, Kathy (Mike) Ingram, of Lyndon, IL; brother, Wink Scott (Robin), of Morrison; 15 grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Miley, Cooper, Lucy, Tyson, Keagan, Jaxton, Bentley, Jr, Zoie, Jamison, Kensingtyn, Huxley, and Ryker; her beloved dog, Hooch.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville. IL.
Service will follow at 1:00, with Pastor Roy Brown officiating.
A luncheon behind Milledgeville High School, at the pavilion, will follow the services.
Cremation rites will then be accorded.
A memorial has been established.
