The Morrison Junior High Swim Team traveled to East Moline, IL, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, to swim against Glenview Middle School. The Colts started out strong in their first meet of the 2015 season, with many outstanding swims. They won the meet with 195 points over East Moline’s 164 points. The Colts also broke six MJHS records that had been set anywhere from 1999 to 2004! Congratulations to the Morrison Junior High Swimmers on a fantastic start to their season.

- Sadie Norman, Sydney Norman, Emily Henson, and Gracen Harmon swam a 2:10.43 to break the 200 Medley Relay record set in 1999 by Emalee Seaman, Rachel Fedyk, Carlie Schoaf, and Amanda Smith.
- Gracen Harmon swam a 13.16 in the 25 Free, to better the record set in 2003 by Lindsey Smith.
- Sadie Norman swam a 13.97 in the 25 Fly, which broke Kendra Kuehl’s record set in 2003.
- Gracen Harmon broke another record by swimming the 25 back in 15.43 seconds, which broke Alyssa Barnett’s record set in 2002.
- Triston James swam a 14.71 in the 25 back, which broke Alex Osborn’s record set in 2004.
- Sadie Norman, Sydney Norman, Brooke Bennett, and Gracen Harmon swam a 1:56.50, to break the 200 Free Relay record set in 2001 by Amanda Smith, Molly Slavin, Anna Harvey, and Rachel Fedyk.
